How to speed up the drying times after my sofa has been cleaned?

When steam cleaned, upholstery can take some time to dry naturally—several hours.

It is dependent on the fabric and its padding or filling. 

More importantly, the humidity of the room.

The warmer a room, the quicker the drying times.

So what can our team do to speed up dry times?

Once the work is completed, we wipe down the sofa with dry terry towels. The friction creates heat, thus absorbing some of the moisture.

Air movers are great for speed drying. One air mover can have a two-seater sofa bone dry in about thirty minutes.

What the air mover does is pull warm air from the room above it, and blow it across the furniture.

If we are cleaning your carpets too, the sofa is addressed first, and dried off as we work on the carpets.
